Driving around town this summer, you may have noticed something different: for sale signs — lots more for sale signs.
At the end of June, almost 8,000 more North Texas houses had signs out front than at the end of 2017.
For the last few years — particularly in moderate-priced neighborhoods — those signs have been few and far between.
Many houses in hot areas of town never made it into the multiple listing service before they were purchased by eager first-time buyers or investors.
But with home sales in the Dallas-Fort Worth area starting to stumble, the number of houses on the market is growing.....
